ET250 is a kind of fiberglass unidirectional fabric with high strength and stiffness along its main direction.
ET250 Fiberglass UD Fabric is one of type undirectional fabric. Glass fiber is only layered straightly in the direction paralleling to fabric width, the non-crimped fibers endow fabrics have great load capacity. So it is distinguished by its high strength and rigidity in its primary direction.
This fabric is composed of individual fibers that are meticulously aligned in a parallel fashion, creating a unique structure that grants it exceptional mechanical properties. ET250 Fiberglass UD Fabric is mainly used in making pipe, blades of wind power turbines, and sport equirpment. UD fabric series is the best choice to improve FRP pipes and tanks axial strength, coupled with improving production efficiency, reduce the product cost. The width can be cut according to the customers's requirements.
Glass fiber unidirectional fabrics are resistant to corrosion, making them ideal for pipe joints exposed to harsh environments or corrosive media. They can be further enhanced with resin impregnation providing additional mechanical properties such as flexibility and durability against fatigue damage.
