How to choose fiberglass tissue for anti-corrosion layer for pipe?
The coal tar enamel anti-corrosion layer is divided into three levels: Ordinary，Reinforced and Extra-reinforced.
Ordinary Level
· In the ordinary level, the total thickness of the anti-corrosion layer is required to be greater than or equal to 2.4 mm, and the structure is primer → enamel layer with a thickness of (2.4±0.8) mm → outer fiberglass wrapping tape(Union fiberglass tissue S-PM-100);
Reinforced Level
· In the reinforced level, the total thickness of the anti-corrosion layer is required to be greater than or equal to 3.2 mm, and the structure is primer → enamel layer with a thickness of (2.4±0.8) mm → inner fiberglass wrapping tape（Union fiberglass tissue S-PM-55) → enamel layer with a thickness of ≥0.8 mm → outer fiberglass wrapping tape(Union fiberglass tissue S-PM-100);
Extra-reinforced Level
· In the extra-reinforced level, the total thickness of the anti-corrosion layer is required to be greater than or equal to 4.0 mm, and the structure is primer → enamel layer with a thickness of (2.4±0.8) mm → inner fiberglass wrapping tape （Union fiberglass tissue S-PM-55)→ enamel layer with a thickness of ≥0.8 mm → inner fiberglass wrapping tape（Union fiberglass tissue S-PM-55) → enamel layer with a thickness of 20.8 mm → outer fiberglass wrapping tape(Union fiberglass tissue S-PM-100).
